Dear Caryn:
Last week, and last Wednesday specifically, was a time frame in my life that I will never forget. I had to take my mother for chemo and radiation therapy and it became very obvious that she was going to need a wig. Fortunately, my sister's hairdresser at Vito's Hair Odyssey recommended you. Your compassion, care and understanding were a huge relief to both my mother and to me. Your immediate attention to her needs and your expert advice are probably routine to you, but I can't begin to tell you how much you helped get me through a critical psychological trauma. My mother was very happy with your work and the wig is beautiful. On Friday, she was talking to one of the nurses, and the nurse remarked that at some point my mother might have to get a wig because hair loss is almost always a side effect of the therapy. The nurse was shocked when my mother told her that she already got the wig and was wearing it! Money is important but it was not a factor in Mom's decision to buy from you. In fact, she didn't even ask the amount until you had finished cutting her hair and shaping the wig and the turban. The fact that your wig was $265 less than a salon that she had just left was also a big relief. Thank you and God bless you, Bob P. |
